Unisex Simple Raw Brass Oval Cuffs are the newest additions to my bracelet collection.
Raw Brass Cuffs: Hand forged from locally sourced raw brass, this oval cuff will naturally oxidize with time. To slow down the process, I have applied museum quality Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax Polish-consisting of refined waxes. I suggest a gentle wipe with a jewelers polishing cloth from time to time if you wish to retard oxidation (many people desire the natural aging process), or to restore the cuff the original finish.
Brass is an alloy made of 85% copper and 15% tin. It is lead and nickel free. With certain individuals, depending how acidic your body is, the copper component may turn the skin a harmless green. One remedy is to coat the inside of the cuff with a coat of clear fingernail polish to create a barrier between the cuff and the skin. Reapply as needed.
The cuffs are easily adjustable to fit most wrists. To find your size, simply relax your hand and measure your wrist with a strip of paper, then use a ruler for the size in inches that work best for you, or use a fabric measuring tape.
